E-bicycles seized in Stratford E15

Dear community members, 

On Thursday 13th November 2025 officers carried out an operation to target offences related to illegally adapted e-bikes along Broadway E15. The operation was hugely successful with 21 e-bikes seized for no insurance and one arrest made. 

Residents and local businesses were spoken to, many of whom thanked officers and gave lots of positive feedback relating to the dangerous e-bikes. 

Officers would like to replicate the same operation in Forest Gate following multiple complaints, please watch this space.
